Interview With Sarah Weddington

Sarah Weddington, a recently minted young lawyer, successfully argued one of history's most ground-breaking cases before the US Supreme Court - twice - with a definitive win in 1973. Weddington went on to a career as a state legislator and other political posts. She died December 26th, 2021, even as a more right-wing version of the court may be planning to overturn that decision. Interview in 2012 by Martha Burk discusses the history and future of US reproductive rights law - and advice on how to live. The Roe decision anniversary was on January 22.
